It’s not magic

After 24 years as a photographer, I've come to believe that consistent, intentional effort in building your business pays off over time. While it's easy to worry that the small steps we take each day won't lead us to our dreams, somehow, everything starts to come together.

But it's not really magic.

Just like compounding works in investing, it applies to your business too. Every step you take, every project you complete—whether big or small—brings you closer to creating something beautiful, efficient, and fulfilling.

That's why with every course I design and every coaching session I offer, my focus remains the same: listen to your heart, map out your goals with actionable steps, and move steadily towards them, one step at a time.

ABOUT LAURA

I’ve always been torn between teaching & photography.

I will never not shoot, but I’ll also never not teach.

Since graduating from art school, I have welcomed hundreds of art students into my studio to learn together. In 2017 I opened a retail portrait business with the goal of training other stay-at-home moms photography and to work with me serving our clients. In 2021, I began mentoring established photographers. And in 2022, I began creating online courses based on my own experience combined with those I’ve mentored over the years.
